Orchard House provides a thorough grounding in the usual educational subjects, preparing children for entrance to leading day and boarding preparatory and senior schools. The same high standards are in force at Orchard House as at Bassett House and Prospect House. In recent years the entrance examination results have been excellent: the boys are regularly offered places at, amongst other schools, Colet Court, Dragon School, Durston House, The Harrodian, The Latymer Preparatory School, Ludgrove, Ravenscourt Park Preparatory, Summer Fields, Sussex House and Westminster Under School. From 2012 boys are expected to be offered places at leading boys’ secondary schools such as Hampton, Latymer Upper and King’s College among others which cover the 8 – 18 age range.

Orchard House girls sit their examinations for senior schools in London such as St Paul's Girls' School, Godolphin & Latymer, The Lady Eleanor Holles School, Latymer Upper, Notting Hill and Ealing High School and boarding schools in the country.
