General information: lunches and other refreshment

A nutritious and appetising organic lunch is prepared daily in the school's own kitchen for all children (other than those attending for the mornings only) and staff. The cost of the lunch is included within the term's fees.

The school works closely with an experienced nutritionist and the menus are carefully planned and reviewed regularly for variety and appropriate dietary content.

A wide variety of dishes is prepared using fresh ingredients which are delivered by local suppliers and the lunches are popular with both children and staff. Vegetarian meals are served on request.

Milk is provided for the morning break, when children may, if they wish, eat some fresh fruit or vegetables brought from home. A snack is provided by the school for children staying on after school for clubs and ballet.

Lunch is an important and enjoyable break for everyone. Staff supervise lunch within a happy atmosphere. They expect good table manners of the children.
