Parents' role

Parents are regularly invited to parents' evenings and other events such as sports day and Christmas plays. The headmistress and her staff are always available to meet parents to discuss their child's progress and particularly to help with the difficult decision as to which school after Orchard House will best suit their child's abilities and character.

Parents are also welcomed into their child's form to share special interests and talents or to join in celebrating a particular religious festival.

We ask for the parents' support in a number of areas such as homework and parents are also invited to join the parents' association.
