HOUSES Form 1 and 2 ‘House’ bauble competition

This week the children in Forms 1 and 2 have taken part in a’house’ bauble making competition. Congratulations to the individual winners from each year group and to Godwin, the overall winner.

HOUSES Form 1 and 2 ‘House’ cake decorating competition

The children in Forms 1 and 2 have also taken part in house cake decorating competition. In their houses they worked in groups to decorate a cake with a Christmas theme. Well done to the overall winner, Godwin.

Christmas lunches

This week the children in the Den and Lower 1 and Forms 5 and 6 have enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch of roast turkey with all the trimmings!

Father Christmas

A special visitor came to Rupert Road this week, much to the excitement of the children in the lower school.

PANTOMIME – Little Red Riding Hood

This week children in the Den, Lower 1, Forms 1 and 2 had great fun watching the pantomime ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. The children were excited and very enthusiastic participants.

Christmas activities

The children have had fun decorating their classrooms and making Christmas decorations.

Carol Concert

The Upper School children, chamber, parent/teacher and senior choirs and members of the orchestra entertained parents with an inspirational variety of Christmas carols, songs and poems in the concert yesterday. Isaac Macallan (6W) sang the solo first verse of ‘Once in Royal David’s City’. For those who were unable to attend the concert please logiin to the secure area of the website to view a recording of the performance.


The anticipation had been mounting all week about today’s staff fundraising event, with rehearsals taking place in secret, a desperate search for costumes, and rumours spreading amongst the children as to what the staff were up to! All was revealed when the cast of Aladdin took to the stage to give a performance which will not be forgotten for a long time! Thank you to everyone who has helped raise money for the school charities.
