Nestled as we are between Bedford Park, Chiswick High Street and the Thames itself, we’ve been delivering quality education to West London as a prep school since 1993, and don’t have any plans to stop anytime soon.
Since our acquisition by Dukes Education in 2020, we have merged with Chiswick & Bedford Park Preparatory School (CBPPS) to expand our reach and curriculum to more children. Now split across four sites, our bespoke Learning Orchard curriculum prepares children for the future while supporting them to be their best and growing their potential.

Our Sites
Orchard House School is spread between four locations, each within a short walk of the others. Children are escorted between sites under the professional supervision of our staff. Minibuses may also be used if the weather demands it.
We encourage all parents to walk or use other modes of transport other than driving, but we understand it is sometimes unavoidable. As a school zone, many of our sites operate under controlled parking zones, so please keep this in mind if you are driving.
There are secure bike and scooter racks at each location, but we ask you to clearly label them just in case.
Early Years Site

Rupert Road is the site of our newly refurbished Early Years building. Here, children aged 3-5 can begin to get to grips with their preparatory education, while still indulging in all the play and discovery a child that age craves:

Nursery children should arrive at the side gate on Rupert Road, while Reception should come through the main gate on Bath Road. If you are coming by car, please park on Rupert Road or in a nearby residential road – not on Bath Road.
A member of staff will attend the gate at arrival and departure times, and there are CCTV cameras at both entrances to aid security.
Pre Prep Site

Priory House is where children aged 5-7 can start to engage more with our curriculum and High-Performance Learning philosophy, preparing them for when Prep school begins in earnest.

At Newton Grove, preparations for the 11+ exams and senior school destinations begin. For children aged 7-11, the full Learning Orchard curriculum is rolled out, and pupils are expected to apply themselves each day.

A member of staff will be at the back gate each morning and inside the lower ground floor cloakroom. Children arriving for the school day earlier than 8.30 am should come to the front door.

At Orchard House School, academic success is built on a broad and ambitious curriculum that encourages every child to become a confident, independent learner. Through the school’s distinctive Learning Orchard curriculum, alongside supplementary clubs and activities, pupils develop strong foundations across core subjects while benefiting from specialist teaching in music, sport, computing and French.
