Fees are charged per term across three terms a year. Nursery is charged by the session, starting at £4,123 per term for 5 sessions a week and rising to £8,234 per term for 10 sessions a week, plus a £82 one-off session rate. Orchard House School Fees
Orchard House uses a termly payment structure for fees, with three terms per school year. Nursery fees start from £4,123 per term (VAT-exempt) and are charged by session, while fees for Reception through to Year 6 are £9,229–£9,427 per term (VAT-inclusive) and cover school lunches as well as most trips.

Please note:
- All fees listed above are inclusive of VAT (with the exception of Nursery school fees, which are VAT-exempt).
- We welcome Nursery pupils for a minimum of 5 sessions per week, with the option to choose between mornings or afternoons.
- Our fees INCLUDE a hot home-made lunch (salad and vegetarian alternatives available) and most excursions during the school day (but not residential trips).
Wraparound Care
For families needing childcare beyond regular school hours, we provide Wraparound Care and activities for all children from 7:30–8:30 AM each morning and 3:30–6:00 PM after school. We provide a fun and engaging experience, with a variety of activities and games for the children to enjoy.
Children joining before school Wraparound Care will be given a light breakfast.
Children joining after school Wraparound Care are offered a snack when they arrive at Wraparound Care.

Clubs and Peripatetic Music Lessons
We also offer a wide range of before and after-school clubs, including Sports, Arts, Academics, and more, ensuring there is something for everyone! (Additional charges apply).
Individual Music Tuition: We provide individual music lessons with our Peripatetic teachers, taken during school hours. Payments for these lessons are managed directly with the Peripatetic teachers.
15 Hour Free Childcare
- We offer the 15-hour free childcare government funding, giving all 3-to 4-year-olds the opportunity to benefit from our high-quality education and care. We manage the funding application on your behalf before the start of the term. The funded amount will be deducted from your termly fee.
- If you are a working parent of a child aged three to four, you may be eligible for an additional 15 hours of funding. For more information on the 30-hour childcare funding, please contact fees@orchardhs.org.uk.

Sibling Discount
When two children from the same family are enrolled, a 10% sibling discount will be applied to the tuition fees of the younger child.
For families with two or more children attending the school, a 5% discount will apply to the tuition fees of the youngest (third) child and a 5% discount to subsequent children.
The discount will be automatically deducted from the termly invoice.
Eligibility:
- The Sibling Discount is applicable to siblings accepted as full fee-paying pupils.
- Siblings must meet all standard admission criteria.
Application:
- The discount will be applied based on each sibling’s year of enrolment.
- The entitlement to the sibling discount will continue as long as there are siblings enrolled in the school simultaneously. The school will not continue to offer the sibling discount if the pupil becomes the only child left in the school.
Additional Costs
- Registration fee: £120 (or £100 for Nursery applications, as Nursery fees are VAT-exempt). This fee is non-refundable.
- Acceptance deposit: £3,000 is payable upon acceptance of a place at the school. This is returned when your child leaves the school, subject to the school having received payment of all sums due to it, including fees in lieu of notice where required.
