This March, we celebrated all things scientific with a fun-packed science day in honour of British Science Week. Pupils across the school took part in a variety of interesting events such as workshops, assemblies and experiments.

Form 1 were delighted to be joined by a dental nurse and doctor this week, who discussed their vital roles and taught the classes about dental hygiene and the functions of the organs. Form 6 led quizzes for pupils in Forms 1 – 5, where they tested their scientific knowledge. In their experiments, the Form 6 children demonstrated the oobleck experiment, made colourful patterns with skittles and learned how to mix colours amongst other activities.

Thank you to our visiting parents, who gave fascinating talks on a wide variety of scientific areas including virtual reality, what a hearing test involves and the functions of the brain.

What a busy day!
