Sport is a huge part of life at Orchard House School
Children who develop a love of sport during their early life go on to live more active, healthy and happy lives as adults.
In 2020, we won the prestigious TES Independent School Award for Sport, and our wonderful Head of Sport and PE at OHS, Stephanie Furneaux, recently won a TES award for innovation in physical education.
Specialist coaching and sports education are accessible to everyone, regardless of their sporting background. Our sports facilities at Rocks Lane, Chiswick, offer a wide range of amenities, including football, rugby, and hockey pitches, and netball courts. During the summer season, we relocate our cricket activities to the stunning Chiswick House and Gardens. For swimming lessons and clubs, we partner with Acton Leisure Centre and Janet Adegoke, ensuring access to excellent aquatic facilities and training programs.
We are proud to share our achievements, such as our U11 Netball team’s remarkable 2nd-place finish at the prestigious U11 IAPS Netball Nationals in March 2023. So far, our netball teams have won over 90% of the matches they’ve played since the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year, and our football team have won 70%!
